It is overwhelming to see the dedicated commitment and enthusiasm in which the people of Taleigao and Panaji are all through a silent revolution gearing up to end the misrule of the Monserrates which has totally ruined Panaji and the neighborhood of Taleigao. Ending their jungle is the best thing that could happen for Goa. Monserrates are distributing abundant money, however the voters have wizened this time around having decided to pocket the money but to vote them out by and showing the Exit door.
Elvis Gomes in Panaji and Tony Rodrigues at Taleigao will restore sanity and bring good governance to the poorest of the poor and sustainable development. The people realise how crucial these elections are for Goa and will not waste their vote on candidates that have a history of broken promises and personal development. Instead, they will vote for the Congress-Goa Forward alliance candidates across Goa for the benefit of the people.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant in April 2019 during that campaign for Panaji Assembly by-election had publicly cautioned us by saying “Babush Monserrate is facing rape charges and if a Rapist becomes your MLA, the ladies and girls would be so very unsafe”.
With their rule coming to an end, the Monserrates can now focus on the trial of the Panaji Police Station Attack case. With abundance of evidence that water tight case will ensure the sure conviction of the Monserrates in that gruesome case.It is just a matter of time that they land at Colvale Central Jail being guests of the State for all the wrong reasons. The long arm of the law is finally catching up with Mr. and Mrs Monserrate.
We don’t need a political scientist or an astrologer to predict their predicament.The writing is clearly on the wall.
