GSIDC PAVING PATHS TO HELL

As a regular user of Atal Setu, it can be seen that the number of potholes on this bridge is just increasing by the day.

The government has announced that IIT Chennai has been entrusted the task of assessing the defects of Atal Setu. But this is no solace as hundreds of crores have been drained on this promised wonder which is ending up as a failed dream. Such criminal waste of public funds is reprehensible and unpardonable.

While inaugurating the Atal Setu midst much fanfare the then Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had cheeringly asked us ‘how is the Josh’. That Josh is not at all good today seeing the pathetic state of that much hyped Atal Setu.

While driving on the Atal Setu our eyes cannot miss the new High Court building which experts opine has been disastrously planned and callously executed.

Both the Atal Setu and our High Court Complex have been piloted by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) of which Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is the Chairman. Taking moral responsibility for the monumental blunders in execution of these vital projects, would it not be appropriate for Pramod Sawant to step down as the Chairman of GSIDC. Over to you, Mr. Chief Minister
