There couldn’t be a better way to start the day than by sharing one’s thoughts with people across the globe through various groups on Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter and other internet based mailing lists.
With hundreds of thousands of people that I am able to communicate with every morning, on cyberspace, coming from varied strata of society, it has been my endeavor to express the viewpoint in very simple words, without mind wrecking ‘tharoorisms’. Fortunately I did my primary education at a government Primary school in Ribandar and not at Oxford.
We owe it to the advancement in Technology to be able to communicate so easily and effectively with people around the world.
We need to encourage people to speak up and express their views fearlessly but also fairly. With all this cyber communication now possible, the world has become such a small place unlike in the 60’s and 70’s when one had to queue up for hours to make a call to even Bombay , leave alone the luxury of speaking overseas.
The advancement in communication is a great boon which we need to make the best by making new friends and acquaintances every day in all continents of this world which has now amazingly become a global village.
Thank God for the gifts of science and technology, and thank you all for your patience and kindness.
