Finally, 14th February 2022, a Valentine’s Day and Election Day with immense significance has dawned. A day when we will get our last opportunity to salvage what remains of our badly bruised and battered Goa.
Today we will elect our 40 new MLAs and a government that will have to restore good governance in the State with sustainable economic development, health and prosperity for the common good.
At the beginning of this election campaign the voters seemed to be confused but now clarity has evolved with the battle lines being clearly between the Congress-Goa Forward alliance and the BJP – a party which has ruined our State over the last decade with its double engine of Corruption and Communalism, taking Goa to the brink.
Today it will also be our opportunity to teach a lesson to those 12 MLAs who in 2019 defected to the BJP, betraying the trust, love and mandate of their electorate for the lust of Money and greed for Power.
Fortunately, Goans have realized that voting today for the Congress- Goa Forward alliance is our only hope for change and a better tomorrow. Today’s election being very crucial for Goa, the people should not waste their votes on AAP, TMC and other parties who have all been abundantly fueled and funded by the BJP to split our votes.
May the Almighty of all faiths guide us on this crucial day to ensure that we vote wisely for the love of ourselves, our families, for all the people and our State of Goa. Getting rid of an uncaring, incompetent BJP government, devoid of integrity, good governance and transparency must be our only goal for the sake of Goa and the generations to come. The future depends on what we do TODAY!
With the State coffers empty and Goa in total administrative chaos with scams galore, it is not going to be an easy task for the next government…but we shall overcome by voting wisely for the Congress-Goa Forward alliance.
