Yesterday the Advocate General of Goa Dattaprasad Lawande submitted to the Honourable High Court an affidavit sworn by the Director of Panchayats that all the garbage ‘black spots’ in Chimbel had been cleared.
Countering that I produced to the Honourable High Court photographs clicked the earlier evening showing that in Chimbel piles of garbage were seen still strewn all over.
So the Honourable High Court to ascertain the facts asked me to immediately accompany the government officers and show them all those ‘black spots’ in Chimbel which I duly did.
It would now have to be seen what action the Honourable High Court initiates against those Goa Government officers who attempted to take our Honourable High Court for a jolly good ride.
This BJP government may be deaf, dumb and blind but the people of Goa aren’t. Jai ho.
