Will Goa’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant please confess to the people of Goa as to why and how in rank impropriety he is allowing his chum Manoj Patil to access official files and has even allowed him to participate in official meetings in rank violation of established protocol?
When the Chief Minister has promised Zero Tolerance to Corruption and Transparency in Governance, how does he allow this man who publicly claims he is an Agent and broker to be soliciting gullible clients at the office and residence of the Chief Minister?
If the Chief Minister feels that this conduit Manoj Patil is an asset in his endeavours, let him officially appoint him as his Principal Secretary cum agent and broker so that there is some accountability and responsibility laid down.
It is shameful that the Chief Minister has allowed Manoj Patil to unofficially function within the solemn precincts of his office and official residence. Obviously the Chief Minister seems not concerned about the welfare and well-being of Goa but seems to be focused on extending the tentacles of his properties now already spread all over Goa and extended into Maharashtra besides Karnataka.
When will the Chief Minister find his soul and conscience to act with integrity and honesty in discharging his responsibilities entrusted to him by the people of Goa and act in their best interests and not just in the interests of himself or his chosen few? This can only be achieved with transparency, accountability and with respect and adherence to the established protocol and the rule of law!
