My dear Friends,
I am so immensely grateful for all your precious suggestions and valuable input on what should be our manifesto for the Panaji Constituency at this ensuing Assembly elections. I am humbled, yet fortified in my resolve, by your response, to be Your Candidate.
Now I shall be collating all those enormous suggestions received and prepare that draft manifesto to be placed before you again in public domain for your kind perusal and consideration before it is finalized.
I reiterate that this election campaign will be a People’s one, where each one of you will be the torch bearer and brand ambassador in this crusade for betterment of Panaji, and our Goa at large.
I will be visiting each and every household in our Panaji Constituency, not with an envelope containing money to buy your vote, but with an open heart and a firm commitment with resolve to live up to your expectations, when elected by you as your MLA for five years. It would be nice to be remembered as your representative who made whatever little difference for good in your life.
May I assure you all that everything I do shall be strictly and only within the framework of law. So, please, don’t ever expect that I would ever assist you in anything that is contrary to law and unlawful. And I can vow that stoning a Police Station I shall never ever do.
I live for Goa and for Goa I shall die. Technology’s biggest gift to me — for all of us — is to be able to communicate with a multitude of people across the world every morning, through Social media on Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter and other internet groups. There couldn’t be a better way to start the day.
