LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST

Having crossed 60, it has been eventful decades. Becoming an Advocate was accomplishing a childhood yearning. Over the years much has been done and achieved but two major tasks remain to be fulfilled.

One is to complete my memoirs which I hope to release at my 70th. It will be a factual narration of my life as it happened. The good, the bad and the ugly, the highs and the lows, so much to recount. Many do not know about my travails and tribulations. I hope to condense it all in one volume penning the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The other task is to initiate legal proceedings against the Government by way of a consolidated suit seeking damages for all the undue politically motivated harassment that I have had to endure over the last few years. Politicians and officials will be named and brought to book in these proceedings which will be fast tracked now that I am a Senior citizen. The damages that the Court awards will all go to Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity towards all the good noble work that they have been doing for mankind.

After all, the ethos of my life as I have said many times, is that true fulfillment of life doesn’t come from what we get, it comes from what we give, with gratitude as the most single important ingredient of a successful and fulfilled life.

With these two tasks done it will be a life accomplished. Both tasks to serve as a reminder and a beacon of hope to others that in this short life of ours, much can be achieved against all the odds and challenges, how with determination, self-belief and in the quest for justice and the truth any obstacles can be overcome without fear or intrepidation.

The 34 sq feet office at Ribandar being my only asset, saves me from the ordeal of having to make a Will.

We have so far survived the second wave of this raging pandemic. We know not for which wave we have been slotted. But in hindsight our dear friends and family, many of them so young, have moved on to a better world free of bitterness, injustice and slavery where the Mosque, Temple and Church and people regardless of status are all joyfully under one roof.
