WE NEED TO RESPECT THE PRIVACY OF COVID PATIENTS

Given how the pandemic has taken hold in our State for a number of reasons, it is inevitable that many of our friends and relatives are becoming infected with COVID. While seeking through social media to request people to pray for their recovery, it may be proper not to name individuals who are suffering with COVID especially without their consent. Some of those patients may also not like to see their names being circulated.

Wouldn’t it be prudent to keep them in our prayers while we fervently pray for all those directly or indirectly struggling through this crisis and for our State to be rid of this virus? Let our thoughts and good wishes be with them all. Let our fervent prayer be that the Almighty give all our people affected with COVID and their families the much needed strength and courage to brave these unprecedented times.

In these very turbulent times, our hope is that the doctors and the front line warriors who are doing their best to save every life possible in this extraordinary crisis will receive the necessary support, patience and determination to overcome their challenges to save precious lives.  We pray that we also experience and witness divine intervention that those who are sick may be healed and successfully recover from this vicious virus that has unleashed havoc amongst mankind across the globe.

Whilst we use every weapon in our armory to fight and defeat this vicious virus including the power of prayer, medicine, science and political will, let us always remember that the end goal is to save precious lives of our friends and relatives whose privacy and needs must always be respected.
