Jennifer Monserrate may officially be the Minister for Revenue, Labour and Information Technology, but it is no secret that it is infact Babush Monserrate who has been running and controlling these lucrative portfolios through his henchmen.
Even for recruitment to government jobs in these departments his chosen candidates were allowed to do their written test at his Miramar office. The Aval Karkun recruitment was a glaring example.

On the brighter side, Jennifer Monserrate may be the only Minister in the current cabinet who has not sought deployment of the entitled police security at her residence. She has not even taken a Personal Security Officer. Maybe she has opted this way for her personal privacy or other reasons best known to her.
But Jennifer Monserrate has been perceived as someone not accessible to her constituents. People today expect their elected representatives to personally be available and deliver on the promises made. The days of running the show by proxy have long passed by.
