Our High Court is yet to move to the new building at Porvorim. It was very disturbing and awful to hear this evening that part of the false ceiling of the Court Library caved in yesterday.
The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) should ensure that our new High Court building is free from any deficiency whatsoever in the works.
It is a matter of concern that works being done by GSIDC are known to be glaringly substandard. The huge craters on the prestigious Atal Setu Bridge should be an eye opener.
Public funds can’t be flushed down the drain in this careless manner with vested interst. Absolute quality control has to be ensured in all the works executed.
