Very warm Birthday greetings to my dear friend of many years Pravin Zantye the MLA of Mayem. If a benchmark is to be set on the quality and integrity of MLAs that we elect, Pravin would be a guiding example.
With so many of our Ministers and MLAs facing criminal cases of all sorts, our Pravin stands tall in his reputation and impeccable uprightness.
Much before I met Pravin, I have nostalgic memories of his dear dad Harish Zantye who in 1980 was elected as an Independent MLA from Bicholim and went on to be our Education Minister.
I am very privileged to know today’s birthday boy Pravin and his dear Dad. Had I known his grandfather, I would perhaps today have been Goa’s Cashew King!
