Our Ribandar is today very saddened with the death yesterday of our Rachol based friend Jose Lourenso Alemao who was laid to rest today.
Along with his parents Jose Alemao in the 60’s had migrated from Rachol to Ribandar. Over those years his so humble parents toiled very honestly and so hard to make ends meet while they lived in Ribandar. Their son Jose Alemao was very talented and never hesitated in being part of every cultural activity in Ribandar. His skills as a robust football player in our Ribandar team will always be remembered. Jose Alemao’s family may have been very poor but had an extremely rich heart and finally decided to return back to their village. I had the nostalgic opportunity to meet up with him at a public meeting I addressed in Rachol some years ago.
May the departed Soul of our very dear Jose Alemao rest in eternal peace and his family be granted that strength by the Almighty to brace this loss.
