The Goa Government is enveloped in administrative chaos with deep rooted rampant corruption, nepotism and sheer bad governance. It has been confusion, contradiction and controversies galore with an unending string of U Turns and reneged promises. The sheer impotence displayed by the Government on the very vital Mhadei issue is alarming.
While the government has miserably failed on all fronts the people of Goa are being distracted and kept entertained with a string of festivals. From Kite to Fish it has been state sponsored festivities and entertainment galore while our financially bankrupt State is sinking by the day with the economy in doldrums.
We need to find a way forward to rescue Goa from the current administrative mess and to restore democratic values while safeguarding for posterity what little remains of our once beautiful and tranquil State.
