THE POWER INTOXICATED BJP SHOULD LOOK WITHIN

One sees nothing wrong at the manner in which the swearing in ceremony of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was held at Shivaji Park.  The BJP which over the years has violated every possible law has no more authority to allege that protocol was violated.

A very glaring example was when on 1st July 2017 for the first time ever in the history of our country within the high security precincts of an airport the Goa BJP held a public meeting addressed by party President Amit Shah at the Dabolim Airport. In total violation of law, on display was sycophancy at its worst, when Amit Shah arrived and contrary to the Airport regulations he was allowed to address a public meeting of party workers within the airport premises.

I had taken up the matter with the High Court and in an  undertaking filed on oath the then Director of AAI Dabolim Bhupesh Negi stated  that the Airport authorities will ensure that in future no such occurrence ever takes place under any circumstances and that the airport area and its precincts are not used for any such occurrence.

The BJP cannot be allowed to vitiate the sanctity of Institutions by acting in sheer abuse of power.
