LET US VOTE WISELY FOR THE SAKE OF PANAJI

Today evening as the election campaign winds up the drums will go silent while the voters of Panaji vote on Sunday May 19th to elect their MLA in this very crucial by-election.

Subhash Velingkar is undoubtedly the best candidate in the fray to steer the city through the current muck. His election manifesto makes it very clear. He is committed to getting rid of the socially and economically destructive offshore casinos which have proliferated under the BJP despite making hollow broken promises to get rid of them. Subhash Velingkar is also committed to rehabilitating the slums in the capital created by recent successive governments as vote banks. He is also committed to dealing with the traffic congestion chaos and parking woes in our capital city. Subhash Velingkar is an intellectual competent man of action to reverse the willful neglect and corrupt practices of successive governments who have been pandering to the will of the Rupee rather than the will of the people.

I commend Subhash Velingkar and his entire team for having run a very decent, dignified and organized campaign. Subhash Velingkar is the only candidate who has not dished out even a paisa to buy votes. He has not engaged or indulged in inducing voters by cash or kind.

We cannot accept the BJP and its very corrupt Smart city rogue Sidharth Kuncalienker, neither the awfully tainted Babush Monseratte with very serious criminal cases pending against him. The Aam Aadmi Party, a Delhi based local party is a misfit in Goa. So none other than Subhash Velingkar with his intellectual ability and competence can as a breath of fresh air usher in the changes desperately needed to rescue a sinking Panaji.

With our conscience let us exercise our precious Vote by electing the best of the lot. Let us not be influenced by caste or creed, neither be swayed by any other consideration. Panaji deserves the best and Subhash Velingkar with his honesty, competence and integrity is capable to deliver what the people desperately need. Let Panaji decide their way Forward.
