THE BJP IS SET TO SINK IN GOA

Goa goes to the polls on April 23rd to elect our two MPs to the Lok Sabha and to also fill those three vacancies to the Goa Legislative Assembly. The other crucial by poll for Panaji however is slated for May 19th.

Latest intelligence reports forecast that the BJP in Goa is in for a big shocker. In Mapusa it predicts a very comfortable victory for the Congress candidate Sudhir Kandolkar.

At Mandrem it is expected to be a very tight race between Independent candidate Jit Arolkar and Congress’s Babi Bagkar while Dayanand Sopte is likely to be abridged to the third position with the voters so angry that he needlessly defected and took them for a ride.

In Shiroda the MGP leader Deepak Dhavlikar is all poised to be a clear victor against the defector and now BJP candidate Subhash Shirodkar while the Congress’s Mahadev Naik stands third.

Whereas in the North Goa Parliamentary Constituency, sources say that Congress Candidate Girish Chodankar will romp through by a margin of around 3000 votes against Shripad Naik.

In South Goa, Congress’s Francisco Sardinha is expected to win by approximately 5000 votes against BJP’s Narendra Sawaikar, as all those who had pledged to Vote for AAP’s Elvis Gomes will now be voting for the Congress having realized that those votes for AAP would go in vain and only benefit the BJP.

Between now and election Day the people of Goa must seize this golden opportunity to make their vote count in even greater numbers by NOT voting for the discredited BJP candidates or their agents, the AAP candidates.

Intelligence reports are usually dead on, but we would have to wait till May 23rd when the Votes are counted to see how accurate these reports are.  I thank the Election Commission for having fixed the counting of Votes on May 23rd which enables me to merrily celebrate my 59th very wet birthday on 24th of May. Jai ho
