50 years ago on January 16th 1967 many Goans led by Dr Jack Sequeira and other leaders toiled relentlessly to save Goa’s Asmitai. But on 11th March last year in that very shameful late night political Zagor that Goa witnessed at a five star Hotel in Panaji, the quartet led by Vijai Sardesai sold Goa’s remaining Asmitai in their sheer greed for Power and Money.
For having overnight betrayed the people of Goa, this quartet will never be forgiven but will have to bear the brunt of being cursed even by posterity.
Tomorrow even if he kneels and begs for forgiveness, Vijai Sardesai’s presence will only desecrate that solemn Lohia Maidan in Margao.
