Rohan Khaunte and Vinod Paliencar started their innings as Ministers on a very wrong note by high-handedly acting like cowboys. The role of Ministers and MLAs is to formulate good policies while also enacting the needed laws and not to check the muster rolls of staff in the departments. That is the task of the Head of every department which needs to be overseen by the Chief Secretary of the State.
That our publicity hungry Ministers and MLAs cover up their follies by taking pleasure in even inaugurating toilets and culverts is truly pathetic. Watching these nutters break a coconut every time a road is being hot-mixed is yet another eyesore.
