The legal profession is considered to be a very noble one requiring the highest levels of ethics and moral principles. But the notorious Advocate General of Goa Atmaram Nadkarni has brought sheer disrepute to the legal arena and is in good company with his equally warped Senior Advocate Saresh Lotlikar.
The Panaji Chief Judicial Magistrate Pooja Kavlekar was today told that as Senior Advocate Saresh Lotlikar was unwell he would not be present in Court. But ironically a very hale and hearty Saresh Lotlikar was spotted appearing in a matter in Court Room No 2 at the High Court.
Saresh Lotlikar has been appointed Special Public Prosecutor in the cheating case against former Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. Judge Pooja Kavlekar was scheduled to hear final arguments in the case today.
No advocate more so a Senior Advocate should ever try to bluff or hoodwink the Court. Shame on you, Mr. Lotlikar. May be its time to disrobe you of your Senior gown.
